Morning Sun

Heavy overnight rain, golden sun in the morning and a cool 48 degrees, ma doggie and a Mug O'Tea...my kind of morning!

Tea Time Over

Morning tea time is over...time to check back into reality. War, school shootings...what's in news today? Dare I look?

Succulents

One day last year Carrie came home from a garage sale with a flat of 4" plastic pots filled with propagated succulent cuttings. I never played around with succulents but when Carrie showed up with all those little plants I started to get my hands dirty. I have know idea what the name is of any of the succulents but it's a kick growing and propagating new plants.

Carrie's garden patio off the guest house. More succulents and ma dooggie.

Finally Rain

My 1,800 gallon cistern is finally filling up. All it takes is three inches of rain to fill these suckers up. But here in southern California the drought has taken it's toll. Now that the cistern is full a hose attached to the overflow redirects the the excess water to anywhere in the garden that can use a little extra saturation.
